Robert Lee Wolfe, Sr. age 65 of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe. Burial will take place at Silent City Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The son of Robert L. and Lucille (Jenkins) Wolfe, Bobby was born on October 17, 1953 in Newton. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1973. He attended several Southern Baptists Church in Jasper County. Bobby was a member of the Monroe JaCees. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting. Watching western movies and reading western books. Bobby never knew a stranger.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Robert Lee (Christiana Leeman) Wolfe, Daniel Wolfe, and Jennifer Walker; eight grandchildren, Paige, Taylor, Carmen, Maddison, Allison, Isaac, Mikel, and Alexander; a brother, Bill (Julia) Wolfe; a sister, Carol (Ron) Weeldon; sisters-in-law, Bambi Wolfe and Jean Vos his former wives, Tamara Zink and Phyllis Roff and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, a granddaughter, Meckena; a sister-in-law, Debra Slycord and a great niece, Hannah.~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Monroe, Iowa 13 Jan 2019.
