MARSHALLTOWN -- Mildred Preston, 96, of the Embers in Marshalltown died Dec. 5, 2004, at Grandview Heights Care Center in Marshalltown.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. John United Church of Christ in Melbourne. Burial will follow services in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown.

A visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Ryan-Davis Funeral Home in Melbourne, where the family will be present. Memorials may be directed to the Iowa River Hospice or the St. John United Church of Christ.
