Wm. Lust, an old soldier of the 17th Iowa, died at his home in this city Wednesday after weeks of intense suffering. The last tattoo has sounded, and to the Great Commander he has answered “here”. He leaves besides an aged wife, two children, Mrs. Mary Barkenholtz and John Lust, and many loving friends. He was about 65 years of age. The funeral takes place from the G.A.R. hall today under the auspices of Sheleday(sic) Post, G.A.R.
