Wm. Kimberly died at his home December 3, after a long illness with stomach trouble. The funeral was held at the home Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. and interment was at Peoria.
Deceased came to Jasper county with his parents from Allamakee county. He was about sixty years old and since his marriage in 1885, to Mary Cleverly, has lived on their farm near Clyde. His wife and six children, Mrs. Mary Pearson and Samuel Kimberly of Maxwell, John and James of Clear Creek, and Jade and Nettie at home, survive. He also leaves his aged mother, Mrs. Ike Kimberly, three sisters, Mrs. John Angello, Mrs. Tom Swallwell, Mrs. Ruth Pearson; four brothers, John Kimberly, three sisters, Mrs. John George Kimberly.
