Lisa Kay Olson, age 51 of Prairie City, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. Burial will take place at Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Make -A-Wish Foundation or the Prairie City Fire Department. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes

The daughter of Richard Glenn and Carolyn Kay (Thompson) Mindham, Lisa was born on April 18, 1967 in Ames, Iowa. She graduated from Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs in 1985 and then graduated from American School of Beauty. On June 10, 2006, she was united in marriage to Troy Vincent Olson in Des Moines. Lisa enjoyed music, animals but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Troy; her mother, Carolyn; three children, Steven (Carissa) Lahey, Hannah Fairchild, and Cole (Alyssa Pilcher) DeKock; four grandchildren, Malachi, Isaiah, Ellyona, and Ezra; a brother, Eric (Melissa) Mindham and several nieces and nephews.
