Obituary

Wahnettie, infant daughter of Harry and Florence Benard, was born in Newton July 18, 1894, and died at 10 p. m., Friday, September 28, 1894, aged 2 months and 10 days.

Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of God.

A bud of beauty nipped by death!
O! no! but upward borne,
Where no rude wind or poisoned breath
Can blast a flower of paradise.

The funeral services took place from the home of Charles Jennings, Sabbath at 3 p. m., Rev. J. C. Jacoby officiating. ~ The Newton Record, Newton, IA, Friday, October 5, 1894
