Baxter, March 15 – Special to the Daily News – Henrietta Hoelscher was born at Eichholz near Hohenhasen, Lippe Detmold, Germany, Sept. 29, 1846 and died at the home of her son, Fred Schweinebart in Baxter Feb. 29, 1932 at the age of 85 years and 5 months.
She arrived in this country with her stepfather on May 11, 1870 and they made their way to Newton. Later they moved to Baxter where they acquired land. For 62 years she was a resident of Jasper county.
On March 7, 1871, she was united in marriage to Friedrick Schweinebart. The couple continued to make their home on the farm until 1910 when they moved to Baxter. Following the death of her husband, which occurred in April 1916, Mrs. Schweinebart made her home with her son, William in Baxter until a year ago when she went to her son, Fred, also of Baxter.
Mrs. Schweinebart is survived by her two sons, William and Fred and nine grandchildren.
Short funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon and at the Bethany Reformed church. Interment was made in the Bethany Reformed cemetery. The pallbearers were Louis Wintermeier, Louis Kanne, Calvin Noah, William Schorman, Gustave Krampe and Charles Sanderman.
