M. Lois White, 87, of Newton, died April 11, 2018, at Accura Healthcare of Newton West.
Lois is survived by her children, Darwin (Pat) White, Dennis (Gayla) White, Douglas (Joyce) White, Patricia Camren, Carolyn (Denny) Deitrick and Cheryl (Darrell) Oliver; daughters-in-law, Cheryl White, Karen George and Juanita White; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia; and sons, Ronald, Jerry, Dave and Carroll White.
Lois was born June 20, 1919, in Colfax, to H. Earl and Mable L. DeBolt. She graduated from Newton High School in the class of 1937.
Lois was dedicated and baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses Aug. 11, 1957, and was faithful until her death. Her hobbies included sewing, reading and gardening. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. The Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements. Memorials to the Watchtower Society may be left at the funeral home or given to the family.

M. Lois White, 98, of Newton, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Accura Health Care of Newton West. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5 at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, 1301 Iowa Speedway Drive in Newton. Following the service the family will have a coffee time at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
