Mr. S. H. Rees received a message this morning from Colorado Springs, Col., which brought the sad news of the death of his niece, Miss Ethel Rees, who has been in Colorado a couple of months, having gone there for her health.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Rees, whose home is in Indian Territory. The father and mother were with her at the time of her death, and will accompany the remains to this city.

The funeral will be held at Wild Cat Grove [Palo Alto Cemetery] next Tuesday. ~ The Newton Daily News, Saturday, September 15, 1906, Page 1, Column 5
