*** Mrs. Henry Krueger was found dead in her chair at her home, which was on a farm about half way between Baxter and the German Reform Church.

She was nearly eighty years old, and with her husband came to Jasper County at a very early date. Besides her husband she leaves three sons, two of whom reside near their parents and one is still at home. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Thursday, October 4, 1906, Page 1, Column 1
