John Taylor died Thursday morning at his home near Monroe. Mr. Taylor was one of the old settlers and at the time of his death was W. M. of the Masonic Lodge at Monroe. The county has lost one of her best citizens, and many friends mourn this, their bereavement. The funeral takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday. Members of neighboring Lodges are all requested to attend.
