Mrs. McQuiston Funeral Is Set Friday Afternoon
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa McQuiston, 77, who died Wednesday morning at Skiff hospital, will be Friday at 2 p.m. Mrs. McQuiston’s death was caused by a heart condition.
Born Aug. 14, 1875, at Meerne, Wis., Mrs. McQuiston was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Bohne. The family came to Jasper county while the deceased was still a young girl, and they settled on a farm north of Newton. Mrs. McQuiston lived in this vicinity and in Newton for the rest of her life.
Her husband, Ray McQuiston, was a farmer near here.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Bohne, Newton, and three brothers, Charles, Henry and Herman, all of Newton. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in Morgan-Loehr Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Eckard officiating. Burial will be in Newton Union cemetery.

McQuiston Rites Are Held Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa McQuiston, 77, who died Wednesday morning, were held today at Morgan-Loehr Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Eckard of First Lutheran church officiating.
Bearers were George Bohne, Fred Chollett, John Miller, Leslie Snoik, Edd Signs and Fred Engle. Mrs. George Bohne and Mrs. Anna Young were in charge of flowers. Dick McKibben was soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Lois Stanton.
Burial was in Newton Union cemetery.
