Walter Baker, a son of Frank Baker of Clear Creek Township, died on Saturday morning and was buried from Union Chapel on Monday.

Walter was twenty-two years of age. He was a student of Highland Park College, Des Moines, and came home two weeks ago for the funeral of his grandmother, Mrs. Crawford, when he was attacked by nervous prostration, which resulted in his death. ~ The Newton Record, Newton, IA, Thursday, April 5, 1900
