Stephen Badger, brother of Mrs. M. I. Woodell and Mrs. F. M. Brunner of this place, died Tuesday, May 4th at the residence of his father east of town. He was 28 years of age.

Eight years ago he was taken with rheumatism and from that time till the time of his death, he was constantly a sufferer from the disease, the immediate cause of his death being consumption.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. Slater at the Congregational Church Thursday morning at 10 o’clock. He was beloved by all and a large concourse of his fiends followed his remains to their last earthly resting place. ~
