Obituary

Leland "Lee" Teed, 73, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 in Ankeny, Iowa.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ankeny Funeral Home, 1510 NW 1st Street, Ankeny, Iowa.

Leland Victor Teed was born September 7, 1939 in St. Anthony, Iowa to Gail and Esther (Kern) Teed. Lee graduated from Corydon High School in 1958. Lee worked various jobs, but retired from Kohls as a District Manager of Maintenance. Lee always enjoyed spending time with his family and helping others. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and followed all the athletic programs.

Survivors include his daughters, Nicola Ollie and Penny (Warren) Martin; friend and companion, Charlene Teed; grandchildren, Jason, Janessa, Joseph, Jimmy, and Tracci; and great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Skylar, Nicholas, Hunter, Paris, Breanna, Eli, and Llric. Lee is also survived by his siblings, Richard, Gail Jr., Bonnie, Henerietta, Alene, and Ruby; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Clow) Teed; parents; and siblings, George, Edward, Dorothy, and Donna. ~ The Ankeny Funeral Home, Ankeny Iowa, Sun 09 Sept 2012.
