Funeral Is Friday For Colfax Man Killed in War II
Colfax (Special) – Funeral services will be Friday afternoon for Pfc. Robert Kaldenberg whose body arrived in Colfax today. Pfc. Kaldenberg was killed in Holland during World War II.
The services will be at two o’clock in the Bumgardner funeral Home. Rev. Floyd Shepherd of the Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in the Colfax cemetery.
Pfc. Kaldenberg was in the 82nd Airborne Gliders. He was reported missing in October 1944, and later reported dead.
