Mrs. Custer, 79, Of Monroe, Dies; Services Monday
Monroe, (Special) – Mrs. Charles Custer, 79, lifelong Monroe resident, died last night in a Des Moines nursing home following a lingering illness.
She is survived by her husband; a brother, Reece Bond of Newton, and a sister, Mrs. Will Romans of Monroe.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at two o’clock at the Crumpacker Funeral Homme in Monroe with burial in the Monroe cemetery.
