Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:30 pm, United Methodist Church, Pella, Iowa. Visitation will be Thursday from noon until service time at United Methodist Church in Pella followed by a luncheon. Memorial contributions may be given
in her memory for the family.

Cecilia Ann Harper, a daughter of Harry and Fern Elizabeth (Stepleton) Harper, was born on April 16, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Monroe High School in Monroe, Iowa with the Class of 1965. Cecilia soon met the love of her life, Ronald Dean Sneller, and they were united in marriage on November 15, 1965, in Waterloo, Iowa. Cecilia and Ron returned to Pella, Iowa and to this union four children were born: Brian Dean, Lynne Marie, David Wayne and Darin Craig. Cecilia was a stay at home Mom while Ron was employed in the grocery business. She graciously accepted her role as a Mother and was dedicated to fulfilling her family’s needs while Ron provided for the support. As their health continued to decline they moved into the Shady Creek Apartments in Pella. Cecilia became a resident at North Mahaska Specialty Care Facility in Oskaloosa, Iowa this August. Cecilia passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Mahaska Health Partnership at the age of 71 years. . She is survived by her husband, Ron Sneller of Pella and their four children and their families. They are: Brian Sneller of C.O.C. in Pella, IA; Lynne and John Mangello of Carlisle, IA; Cody Sanders, Colten and Shelby Sanders:David and Theresa Sneller of Harvey, IA; Dominic Sneller-Smith, Mallory Sneller: Darin and Holly Sneller of Des Moines, IA; Delaney Sneller, Abigail Sneller.

Cecilia leaves her mother, Fern Elizabeth Harper Zurn of Des Moines; her sister, Marie (Robert) Miller of Des Moines; and the following brothers-in-law: Norman Sneller of Oskaloosa, IA, Robert Sneller, Roger Sneller, S. Paul Sneller, Kevin Sneller, Stanley Sneller, Mark Sneller; and two sisters-in-law: Juanita (Sneller) Legreid and Judith (Sneller) White all of Missouri.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her father, Harry Harper; her step-father, Robert Zurn; and her parents-in-law, Nickolas W. and Marjorie M. (Otten) Sneller. ~ The Van Dyk - Duven Funeral Home, Pella, Iowa 15 Oct 2017.
