Christopher "Chris" A. Hoskins
April 14, 1949 ~ July 2, 2002 (age 53)

Christopher A. "Chris" Hoskins, the son of Robert H. "Bob" and H. Louise (Bonnett) Hoskins, was born April 14, 1949 in Chariton, Iowa. He was a 1967 graduate of Newton Senior High School. He grew up in Newton and also lived in the Quad Cities area prior to moving back to Newton in 2001. Mr. Hoskins was a machinist, working for the J.I. Case Company in Moline, Illinois. He retired in the early 1990s.

Chris died Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at Heritage Manor Care Center in Newton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father and a brother.

Survivors include a daughter, Aubury Leigh Hoskins of Moline, Illinois; his mother, H. Louise Hoskins of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Jerry Jansen of Kellogg and Lisa and Tony Mall of Colorado Springs; a brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Kim Hoskins of Newton; and many nieces and nephews. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 2 July 2002.
