Ira – Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Ira Christian church for little Claudia Jean Robinson, with the Rev. F. D. Augustine in charge. A duet, “In the Garden,” was sung by Joann and James Lowry. Reva Murphy and Anna Jean Warner and Mrs. J. H. Boyd were in charge of the flowers. Interment was in Union Chapel cemetery.
Claudie Jean Robinson, daughter of Phillip Gene and Irene Whitehead Robinson, was born in Des Moines, Ia., Oct. 24, 1946, and departed this life Nov. 9, 1946, at the age of two weeks and two days.
She leaves to mourn her departure her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Gene Robinson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Whitehead of Ira and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Robinson of Des Moines; a great grandmother, Mrs. Stella Whitehead of Ira, and a number of other relatives and friends of the family.
