Life Story of Charles Ver Heul
Charles Ver Heul, son of John and Sarah Ver Heul was born in Marion county, Iowa, near Pella, September 27, 1879 and died at his home in Altoona, October 22, 1963 at the age of 84 years and 25 days.
He spent most of his life as a farmer in Jasper and Polk counties.
He was married March 4, 1915 to Maggie Hevlin, who preceded him in death. To this union was born three children, Forrest G., Olive Juanita and Charles Burton, all of Altoona.
He is also survived by a sister, Louisa Anderson of Monroe and a brother, Ira, of Newton.
