Robert Crouch Dies Friday
Funeral services for Robert K. Crouch, 57, of Mitchellville, owner-operator of Bob and Frankies Restaurant near Mitchellville, were held Monday, May 16, at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Karl Holtkamp of Fairfield, formerly of Colfax, conducted services. Burial was in the Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines.
He died Friday, May 13, at his place of business.
Memorial contributions to the Colfax Interfaith Center will be accepted.
Survivors are his wife Frankie; four sons, William, Michael, Patrick and Mark, all of Mitchellville; a daughter Mary of Mitchellville; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ralph Hale of Ankeny.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Mr. Crouch, a member of the Mitchellville American Legion, was a veteran of World War II.
The son of Thomas and Caroline Lewis Crouch, he was born February 11, 1920, in Rock Island, Illinois, and was a 1937 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Des Moines.
He was married to Frances Moore June 26, 1948, in Des Moines.

Casket bearers: James Ayers, Ace Bristol, Kenneth Brown, John Hale, James Haines, Charles Stinson.
