Ray M. Bonnett Dies on Friday; Services Monday
Ray M. Bonnett, 65, a resident of both Newton and Colfax for several years, died Friday evening at the Nelson Manor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Garland Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Pringle Cemetery at Bussey.
Mr. Bonnett is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Jean Parrish of Newton, Mrs. Joan DeReus of Colfax, Mrs. Vera Lou Dooley of Colfax, Mrs. Carol Backer of Des Moines Mrs. Patty Ancell of Des Moines, Mrs. Janice Modde of Des Moines, Mrs. Betty Sharpe of Ottumwa and Mrs. Pauline Doublestein of Otsego, Mich.; two sons, Dale Bonnett and Harold Bonnett, both of Osceola; four brothers, two sisters and 24 grandchildren.
He was born Oct. 6, 1896 in Bussey.
