Linda D Jackson
November 18, 1944 ~ July 3, 2017 (age 72)

Linda D. (Antle) Jackson quietly passed away on July 3, 2017. Linda will be cremated and buried at a later date at the Antle Cemetery in Kellogg. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017, from 4-6 p.m., at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory.

Linda was the only child of DeLoris (Norton) and Duane Antle, she was born on November 18, 1944. She lived in Newton and Kellogg throughout her life.

Linda attended Washington School, Central Junior High and graduated from Newton Senior High in 1963. She remained loyal to Newton High by helping organize the class reunions for her graduating class for many years.

Linda was a selfless and devoted mother to her two children, Kristin (Don) Raper and Marc Jackson. Linda was always in the stands cheering their accomplishments. She spent countless hours driving to softball and Babe Ruth games, and archery tournaments.

For over 30 years, Linda provided excellent customer service to her customers at Newton National Bank, Tri County Credit Union and Wells Fargo. She was the teller you went to because she remembered your account numbers when you didn’t.

Linda enjoyed spending her free time with friends and family. She looked forward to meeting her “Club Ladies” on Tuesdays for food and support and indulging in “retail therapy” with her mother. She spent many Saturday nights going to the races at Knoxville with Marc, where they cheered on their favorite racer Terry McCarl. She watched Kristin tend to her garden and Elizabeth grow up.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Duane Antle and her granddaughter Samantha Raper. Survivors left to honor Linda are her Mother DeLoris Antle, her children Kristin (Don) Raper and Marc Jackson, and her granddaughters Sarah (Brad Lickey), Ashley and Elizabeth Raper.

Linda was a loving mother and daughter, a good friend to many, and a smiling face to everyone. ~ The Wallace Family Funeral Home, Newton, Iowa 3 July, 2017.
