Former Colfax Resident Died at Bondurant
Mrs. Eli (Agnes) Haines, 75, of Bondurant, died Sunday morning, January 17th at a hospital in Des Moines. She had resided at a nursing home in Mitchellville since last fall.
Mrs. Haines lived for many years in and near Colfax, her husband farming what is now the Sam Bolen place for some years. The family also occupied the house at the Golf course for a number of years. The Haines moved to Bondurant from Colfax about 10 years ago, Mr. Haines passing away the following year.
Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:00 o’clock from the Christian Church at Bondurant and burial will be at the Bondurant cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Maude Ann Coulter of Sacramento, California, a son Jim Haines of Bondurant, two brothers, Robert White of Colfax and Sam White of Prairie City.
