Mrs. Osa Farrar Dies at Vandalia; Services Sunday
Mrs. Osa (Ladisa Belle) Farrar, 90, a resident of Vandalia nearly all her life, died Thursday at her home in Vandalia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Walters Funeral Home in Prairie City.
Dwight Hummel will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Vandalia Cemetery.
Survivors are a son, Foster W. Farrar of Prairie City; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Brunner and Mrs. Sarah Brunner, both of Prairie City, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1931.
Mrs. Farrar was a member of the Vandalia Church of Christ.
She was born April 23, 1876 in Prairie City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lafayette Anderson.
She was married to Osa Adelbert Farrar, Sept. 21, 1908 at Prairie City.
