CHARLES APPLEBY
1942 - 2017Charles Appleby, 74, Shawnee, KS, passed away peacefully at his home June 18, 2017, after a two year battle with Lung Cancer. Charles was the son to Delmar and Mildred Appleby. He was born Sept. 18, 1942, in Newton, Iowa. He worked at Sprint for 32 years and Lowes for 10 years. Charles enjoyed cooking for family, friends, and neighbors. He also loved doing home projects, wood working, and quilting.
He is preceded in death by parents and brother, Larry Appleby.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Appleby of 43 years; brother, David (Linda) Appleby of Cherokee, IA; seven children and 13 grandchildren.
