The body of Mrs. Frank Lavalleur, who died at Condee, South Dakota on Wednesday of last week, was brought to Colfax last Saturday and her obsequies took place at Greencastle last Sunday afternoon. Her fatal illness was dropsy.
She was a native of Jasper County, and leaves a husband and three children - a son of seven and twins of only four months, a son and a daughter. Mr. Lavalleur and the elder son were her in attendance upon the funeral and interment at Greencastle, returning to their desolate home Tuesday.
