Nehemiah Hubbard died at the county home near Newton Tuesday morning October 6th. The remains were brought to Colfax for interment and a short service was held at the cemetery at 1:30 yesterday afternoon. Mr. Hubbard was the son-in-law of J. C. Kartchner and formerly lived in Colfax. Ill health and lack of means made it necessary for him to go to the home where he has been for sixteen years. He leaves several children. He was about 65 years old.
