Bettis Services Are Held Today
Funeral services for Ervin Louis Bettis, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Bettis, who died Wednesday evening following severe burns, were held this afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Morgan Funeral home. The Rev. W. A. Weyrauch, evangelist, conducted the rites.
Music was furnished by a trio, W. T. Waddell, Miss Lucille Good and Mrs. Laura Short, who sang “No Disappointment in Heaven,” “Rock of Ages,” “Jesus Saviour Pilot Me’ and “Safe in the Arms of Jesus.” They were accompanied by Miss Lavesta Morrow.
Burial was made in the Newton Union cemetery. The pallbearers were Joe Robson, Norman Robson, Arthur Bladt and Leonard Bladt.
