Julius Baldwin Colfax Farmer Died Sunday
Mr. Julius Baldwin for sixty-two years a farmer of Jasper County, died at the home of his niece, Mrs. W. E. Jennies, east of Colfax, Sunday at 1:30 a.m. He was eighty-two years old.
Julius Baldwin came to Iowa and to Jasper County in the year ’55, settling on a farm near Colfax, Iowa.
For the past two winters he has been ailing. His death Sunday was due mostly to old age.
He leaves in his immediate family but one brother, Frank Baldwin of Edmen, Washington. There are many friends who are mourning his loss.
Funeral services were held this morning form the W. E. Jennies home at Colfax, and interment made in the Newton cemetery.
