Dixie Ann Watson, age 80 of Colfax, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Colfax Fire Department or Hope Assembly of God and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Vern and Bertha (Stockman) Price, Dixie was born on July 25, 1936, in Lodi, California. In 1950, she moved with her family to Colfax. Dixie graduated from Colfax High School in 1954. She worked for the Department of Transportation, retiring in 1999. Dixie attended Hope Assembly of God and the Christian Church. Dixie loved music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Lorie Williams, Craig (Kelly) Watson and David (Christy) Watson; five grandchildren, Kristina, Kelsey (Mike), Jacob, Crystal and Emily; five great grandchildren, Mikayla, Samarah, Taylor, Abby and Michael; and two brothers, Ron (Sharon) Price and Larry Price.
