Marjory (Marge) Wyer, 84, of Colfax, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2016, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. There will be no services as she requested cremation. Memorials may be made to the Colfax Fire and Rescue Department and mailed to Marilyn Bowman, 10790 S. 36th Ave. W., Colfax, IA 50054.

Marjory was born June 9, 1932 in Wayne County. She worked at the Jasper County Savings Bank, was a semi owner-operator with her husband for 20 years and operated the Colfax Roller Rink from 1960-1975. Her passions were riding horses and competing in the Colfax Saddle Club, reading, fishing and caring for her many animals.

She is survived by her sister and husband, Doreene and Bob of Noblesville, Ind.; several nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

Proceeding her in death were her husband, Glen; two sons, Chuck and Frank; her parents, Frank and Pauline (Rile) Rees; and two sisters. ~ The Jasper County Tribune, Colfax, Iowa 14 Dec 2016.
