August 15, 1922 - December 18, 2016

Kathryn Lorraine Miller, age 94 of Runnells, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Private family graveside memorial services will be held at Waveland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice or Habitat for Humanity. The daughter of Edward Raymond and Iva E. (Walker) Lovett, Kathryn was born on August 15, 1922, in Prairie City. She graduated from Prairie City High School in 1940. On September 20, 1941, she was united in marriage to Wayne M. Miller. Kathryn was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She was a dedicated member of the Evergreen Church of Christ. Kathryn enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Donald (Charlotte) Miller and Jeannie Miller; three grandchildren, Renee (Troy) McGill, Eric (Marcy) Rist and Aaron Rist; eight great grandchildren; Taylor McGill, Joshua Rist, Grace McGill, Samantha Rist, Mandi Rist, Rose McGill, Noah Rist, and Emma Rist.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband in 1997; one sister, Joyce Gertsma; and four brothers, Russell Lovett, Ivan Lovett, Gerald Lovett, and Harold Lovett. ~ The Coburn Funeral Home, Colfax, Iowa 18 Dec 2016.
