Percilla [sic] Jane Fullerton was born at ____ville, Ohio, Sept. 1, 1830. For ___ time she lived at Wilmington, ___ afterwards at Hillsboro, Ohio, where she was married to B. J. Russell ___ 1856. In the year 1865 Mr. and Mrs. Russell came to Jasper county, Iowa, and settled on a farm six miles ____east of Newton. In October, at the time of the great Chi- ____ they removed to this city. ____ after this, Mr. Russell went into the mercantile business here, and since ____ time Newton has been their home.

There were two children born to Mr. and Mrs. Russell, Samuel Ney, who ____ Chicago March 16, 1893, and Jennie May, who is the wife of A. K. (Lufkin) of this city, and who has remained since her marriage very near to her ____ home, where she could still ____ had always been, her mother’s companion and sympathizing ____ and through all of the mother’s _____ her loving, faithful nurse.

Percilla Russell died Aug. 14, 1905, and ____ o’clock in the morning, her age being ____ years, 11 months and 14 days.

The funeral will be tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock. She will be laid to rest with the beautiful blossoms that she loved so well, ____ the flower garden that has been ____ and pleasure. ~ The Newton Daily News, Tuesday, August 15, 1905, Page 1, Column 1
