Last Tuesday at her late home north of Newton occurred the death of Alvina Rithmeier [sic-Rethmeier], after an illness covering several years. The funeral was held this morning from the German Reform Church north of this city, the interment being in the cemetery [Zoar Cemetery] near the church. ~ The Newton Daily News, Thursday, June 1, 1905, Page 1, Column 1
