Theda, the four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Brown, of Colfax, died this morning at 7 o’clock, after a month’s illness with acute Bright’s disease. The sudden taking away of this little one was a great shock to her parent and many friends, as she was thought to be on a fair road to recovery and all were greatly encouraged. At 3 o’clock this morning she was given a bath, by her nurse, and afterwards seemed to be resting more comfortably. A few minutes before 7 o’clock, Mr. Brown thought he heard a little girl call to him and he at once went to her room but found that she had just passed away.
