Gertrude (Jansen) Schnell, 91, formerly of Sully and Pella, Iowa, passed away Saturday morning at the Grinnell Health Care Center in Grinnell, IA. Gertrude, the last surviving child of Gerrit and Gertrude (Rozenboom) Jansen, and wife of the late Robert Schnell, is survived by her three children and their spouses: Rolland and Donna Schnell of Newton, IA, Dale and Roberta Schnell, Barbara and John Freeborn of Lynnville, IA; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held
Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.
St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Sully, Iowa
Family Committal Service will precede the service at St. Andrew’s Cemetery at Sully, Iowa

Visitation will begin Monday afternoon at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella, Iowa where the family will be present Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
