George Schram died at the home of his cousins, George and Levi Richardson, on South Street, last evening after an illness of many years dating back to when he was but fourteen years of age. All these years he has been an ____ and great sufferer. About a year ago Mr. Schram was taken to the ____ Hospital at Des Moines where an operation was performed for a white ____ on his leg. On March 20th of last year he suffered the first stroke of paralysis, from which he recovered sufficiently to be brought to this city. He had despondent days, but for some time had been unusually cheerful, when last Tuesday evening had eaten a _____ supper, when soon after, his head began to ache severely, and very soon after had a second stroke of paralysis from which he never rallied so that he could speak although he was conscious.

George Schram was born in Dallas County, Iowa, June 7, 1856. Removed from there to Mahaska County, and came 22 years ago came to Jasper County near Kellogg. His father dying when he was but a child he and his mother always made their home with his cousins, at whose home he died.

____mber 2, 1903 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Bertha Connell and since that time has resided in Des Moines. He leaves only a wife and little stepson about nine years of age. A telegram sent to the wife in Des Moines yesterday morning was received by her in time to arrive this morning, too late to see her husband alive.

The funeral will be held at the Richardson home tomorrow afternoon at ____ o’clock.
