Gertrude Andreas Dies on Thursday; Services Saturday

Sully - Mrs. Frank Arthur (Gertrude) Andreas, 86, a resident of a farm west of Sully since 1911, died Thursday at the Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Saint Andrew's Lutheran Church, north of Galesburg.

The Rev. A. L. Schulz, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Saint Andrew's Church Cemetery.

Van Dyk-Duven Funeral in Pella is handling arrangements.

Survivors are a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son in infancy, her husband in 1969, her parents, a sister, two half-brothers and two half-sisters.

Mrs. Andreas was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran church.

The daughter of Peter Henry and Dora Kuyper Vander Waal, she was born July 2, 1895 west of Killduff.
