It is not true that Allie Compton’s family had the small pox and also the measles; they have not had either, but have been afflicted with la grippe, but not very serious. On March first Mrs. Allie Compton gave birth to a baby girl. It lived but about twenty hours. The bud was severed from earth to bloom in Heaven. Mrs. Compton is doing as well as could be expected. Funeral services at the house on Monday conducted by Rev. Martin. Burial at Mt. Zion cemetery at three o’clock.
