Best Funeral Monday Morn At 10:00 A.M.
The funeral of William W. Best, who died at the county home yesterday morning, will be held Monday at 10 o’clock at the Free Methodist church of this city, of which the deceased was a member. Rev. Frank Smith, of Fairfield, Iowa, an old friend, will have charge of the services. The interment will be in the Newton cemetery.
Mr. Best was 65 years old on December 17 last. He is a native of Pennsylvania, but has lived in Newton eleven years. He leaves a wife, who resides in this city, two sons, Harvey A., of Seattle, Washington, and William S., of Newman, California, and three grandsons.
Mr. Best has been in the county home since ten months ago having been afflicted with paralysis of the brain. The immediate cause of his death was a hard attack of la grippe from which he had been suffering for about a week.
