Patricia Mary Mc Neer Woody, 49, of Rt. 3, Box 452, a resident of Newton most of her life, died Monday, June 20, at the Skiff Medical Center of cancer.
Wake services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
The Rev. E. William Kaska, pastor of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Palo Alto Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorials to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church may be left at the funeral home.
Survivors are her husband, Delmar, four sons, Patrick, Dennis, Michael and Kelly, all of Newton, four daughters, Diana (Mrs. Rod) Savage, Sue (Mrs. Terry) Hervey, Linda Woody and Amy Woody, all of Newton, and 13 grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Robert Mc Neer, James Mc Neer, John Mc Neer and Charles Mc Neer, all of Newton, and two sisters, Theresa (Mrs. William) Clark and Mary Ellen (Mrs. Monte) Juett, both of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Woody was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She was a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
The daughter of Robert A. and Barbara Theresa Mc Elwee Mc Neer, she was born May 9, 1939 in St. Charles, and was a 1957 graduate of Newton Community High School.
She was married to Delmar Woody Feb. 14, 1959 in Newton.

Newton, IA – Patricia Mary Woody, 49, of rural Newton died of cancer Monday at Skiff Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Palo Alto Cemetery.
Mrs. Woody was born in St. Charles and lived in Newton most of her life. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the Catholic church and a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
Her survivors, all of Newton, include her husband, Delmar, four sons, Patrick, Dennis, Michael and Kelly; four daughters, Diana Savage, Sue Harvey, Linda Woody and Amy Woody; four brothers, Robert McNeer, James McNeer, John McNeer and Charles McNeer; two sisters, Theresa Clark and Mary Ellen Juett, and 13 grandchildren.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. today at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home, where a wake service will be at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church for youth programs.
