Virginia Rodvik passed away at her home in Sioux Falls, S.D. from a heart attack on February 26.
Virginia Elizabeth Van Zante, daughter of Marion and Lucille Ross Van Zante, was born May 13, 1918 near Monroe, Iowa. She grew up and attended school here. On December 14, 1941, she married David J. Rodvik in Bethany, Mo. The couple then made their home in Des Moines until 1952 when they moved to Litchfield, Mn. where she worked for the Meeker County Hospital as medical records librarian until 1959. The couple then became involved in nursing home management in rural communities until moving to Sioux Falls, S.D.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, David; a son, Wesley of Sheldon, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. James (JoAnne) Larsen of Valley Springs, S.D.; 2 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dale (Frances) McComas of Monroe and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 1st at the Trinity Baptist Church in Sioux Falls with interment at Hills of Rest Memorial Park.
