Services Held
Marion R. Rinehart, 84, of Newton, died Thursday morning Feb. 20, 1986, at the Skiff Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Reese Chapel.
The Rev. Roger Graf, pastor of the Monroe Presbyterian Church conducted services. Burial was in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Marie; a son, Clinton Rinehart of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Arment of Grinnell; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
The son of Charles and Ivy Moon Rinehart, he was born April 4, 1901 in Columbia.
He was married to Marie Carter March 29, 1925 in Knoxville.
