Hazel T. Rinehart 1897-1964
Hazel Taylor Rinehart, daughter of David A. and Nancy Wagner Taylor, was born December 29, 1897 near Monroe, Iowa. She was departed this life December 28, 1964 at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dale McBride, in Des Moines, Iowa. She had been hospitalized at the University Hospital in Iowa City for the past two months.
Mrs. Rinehart was graduated from Monroe High School in the class of 1917. She was an active member of the Monroe Methodist Church, the W.S.C.S., Rebekah Lodge, Pythian Sisters, American Legion Auxiliary, Woman’s Relief Corp, Todays Club and actively engaged in many community affairs.
On August 18, 1928 she was united in marriage to Ralph L. Rinehart and spent her entire life in the Monroe vicinity.
Preceding her in death were her parents. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Ralph, two sisters, Mrs. Dale (Gladyce) McBride, and Mrs. Milton (Ruth) Wright, both of Des Moines, one uncle, Frank A. Wagner of Prairie City, Iowa, and a host of friends.
Arrangements were made by the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home.
