Services for Almeda Reish, 86, were held Friday, December 15, 2000, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. Rev. Philip Coe officiated the services. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.
Almeda Reish passed away of a heart ailment Monday, December 11, 2000, at the USA Health Care Center in Newton.
Born April 27, 1914, Almeda was the daughter of Silas Elias and Mary Elizabeth (Mustain) Page. She was born in Clarke County. She attended Fremont Township schools in Clarke County. On December 10, 1932, she married Bruce E. Reish in Bethany, Missouri. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Church. She lived in the Weldon, Osceola, and Monroe areas before moving to USA Health Care Center in Newton in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Erma and Jerry Cartwright of Monroe; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Penny of Warsaw, Missouri; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Cooper of Spirit Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
