Services Held For Huron Price
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 13, at the Monroe United Methodist church for Huron Holmes Price.
The Rev. James V. Poulson, minister of the church, officiated.
Pallbearers were Gerry Timmins, Harold Timmins, Max Timmins, Stanley Daft, Homer Carnahan, and Melvin Carnahan.
Interment was in Waveland Cemetery at Prairie City.

Services To Be Held Thurs. For H. Price
Services for Huron Holmes Price will be Thursday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. Rev. James V. Poulsen will officiate. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery at Prairie City.
Mr. Price passed away Tuesday at Collins Hospital in Knoxville.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Price, he was born August 11, 1894 at Galesburg.
He received his education at Galesburg and Colfax schools. He had lived at Monroe since 1936.
He was married to Ida Bell Timmins January 22, 1913 at Prairie City.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Hubert Price of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Irene) Farver of Monroe and Mrs. Harold (Ruby) Sparks, Jr. of Reasnor; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Cleo Price of Colfax; and a sister, Mrs. Ed Daft of Mitchellville.
