Services Held
Charlie A. Postma, 93, of the Montezuma Senior Home, died Sept. 27, 1986 at the Grinnell General Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the United Church in Deep River. Burial was in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Survivors are a son, Floyd of Grinnell; a daughter, Wilma Kuster of Joliet, Ill.; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Also surviving are two sisters, Cecyle Main and Gladys Rucker, both of Newton; and a brother, Clayton Postma of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tena, a daughter, Joan in infancy, three brothers and two sisters.
The son of William and Carolyn Postma, he was born Nov. 3, 1892 in Rock Valley.
He was married to Tena Earle Feb. 28, 1915 near Monroe.
