Services Held
Funeral services for Marie Tish Miller, 92, a resident of Heritage Manor for 12 years and a former resident of Kellogg, were held July 5 at the Reese Chapel.
The Rev. Jerry Brown, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, conducted services. Burial was in West Liberty Cemetery in Searsboro.
She died of heart failure Monday morning at the Skiff Medical Center.
Among the survivors is Esther (Mrs. Owen) Barr of Newton.
The daughter of Preston and Annie Watson Tish, she was born Nov. 29, 1896 on a farm near New Sharon and attended Poweshiek County schools.
She was married to Clyde Miller Nov. 23, 1913 in Searsboro.
Mrs. Miller lived in the Searsboro area until 1932 when she moved to Kellogg. She made her home there until moving to Heritage Manor in 1977.
